Karin Plato and Bill Coon have been performing together as a duo since 1999. In 2001 they toured across Canada in support of Karin’s duets CD Blue Again. Tour cities included Montreal, Toronto , Regina, Saskatoon plus several others. In 2003 they performed in concert and led school workshops in the BC interior. Their concerts have been recorded and broadcast by CBC radio and by Radio Canada for programs including Silence en Jazz, JazzBeat and Hot Air.

The intimacy of the duo format allows the two artists to walk a musical tightrope in their exploration of dynamic range and color. Audiences have been drawn to their performance which range from a whisper soft to a boisterous forte.
